talassa

Talassa was born as a process of sedimentation of images that began forming in my mind long before I started shooting them, in the summer of 2022. Since childhood I have been collecting images, sounds and sensations of the summers spent in the seaside house near Syracuse, where once a year we cousins and friends gather to spend the two months of holiday together.

It is the portrait of our summers. A personal diary in which the passing of time and our change emerge.

Bachelor's degree at LABA Florence.
Master in Fashion Photography at Raffles Milan.
Often in Bologna in my free time.

My work explores the relationship between the individual and the places they inhabit, the search for what we might call home, and the changes these places undergo over time.
